With our ambition to continue growth on an organizational level, the need to strengthen our PMO department and improve our processes to support the Project Managers and Service Managers is increasing and we therefor are posting this vacancy for a Delivery Support Specialist.
The team
In this position, you will be part of the Delivery department, which, in addition to Delivery Support, consists of Project management and Service management, but you will also be dealing with Finance, Client management, Management and Technical Service Leads departments.
What will you do
As a Delivery Support Specialist, you are the "go-to" person for all project-related administration from Opportunity in Commit to the Customer Satisfaction Survey after project closure. This means that you recognize and keep an eye on the preconditions of the project by staying in touch with the people and departments involved, identifying bottlenecks and being able to collaborating across departments. In short, you have communicative and organizational skills, you can multi-task and deal with work pressure and you are at your best in a dynamic work environment.
- Your tasks and responsibilities consist of a series of processes and ad-hoc situations from the preparations of a project such as drawing up Contracts, following up on resource planning, setting up projects in Unit4 and the onboarding process of the project prior to the kick-off.
- During the project, you take care of the monthly invoicing and its preparation, such as the timely and correct booking of billable hours and providing support to the Project managers in the project administration.
- In addition, you will be responsible for managing a number of projects by keeping track of budgets, approving hours, maintaining planning of resources and invoicing.
- At the end of projects, you will supervise the offboarding process.
As a Delivery Support specialist, you have an important position in our organization, because you coordinate and drive a large number of processes and workflows that determine the smooth running of our projects. You will receive requests from the entire organization, some of which you pick up and solve yourself and some of which you forward to the right person/department.
Your education and experience:
- Bachelor's degree, thinking and working level
- At least 3 years of support experience in a project environment
- Experience with Unit4 or other Project Management tools, CRM
- Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English
- Experience in IT services is a plus
- Prince 2 diploma is a plus
